The talk will be in English
Hundreds of millions of years ago, mammals developed a new way to reproduce: a permeable placenta, rather impermeable eggshells. This completely transformed our immune system, profoundly shaping our place on the planet, but also our health and disease. During the talk, we will explore new insight on what makes us human (or just mammal!) and how this can help find new cures for disease.
